Terms of Service

Effective July 1, 2026. These terms describe the rules for using SpotWait to manage live queues and customer status workflows.

Using SpotWait

SpotWait is a web app for managing live customer queues, public wait status, QR join flows, staff actions, analytics, and related account operations.

Accounts and customer data

Users are responsible for keeping account access secure and ensuring that only authorized staff can view or manage queue information. Organizations using SpotWait are responsible for appropriate notices and required consent before entering customer names, phone numbers, notes, or status information.

Messages and billing

If SMS or other messaging is enabled, the organization is responsible for consent, message content, opt-out handling, and compliance with applicable messaging laws and carrier rules. Paid plans, invoices, renewals, upgrades, cancellations, and refunds are handled through the billing flow shown in the app or through support.

Acceptable use and availability

Users may not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with reliability, upload unlawful content, or use SpotWait to harm customers or other organizations. SpotWait may change, suspend, or discontinue features as the product evolves and does not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Termination and liability

Access may be suspended or terminated for misuse, nonpayment, or legal risk. SpotWait is provided as-is to the fullest extent permitted by law, and liability is limited as permitted by applicable law.
