For walk-in barbershops and salons

A simple live waitlist for busy walk-in shops.

Clients scan, join, see their place, and return when called. Your team manages one clear line without replacing the booking or POS tools you already use.

USD monthly plans: Free $0 · 1 location · 50 ready texts; Starter $19 · 1 location · 500; Pro $89 · 3 locations · 3,000. Ready texts are pooled across your workspace.

Product walkthrough · sample flow

This plain-language demonstration uses sample steps, not a customer result or production screenshot.

Product demonstration · sample data

These stills were captured from the local seeded QA workspace. They show the product workflow only; they are not customer proof, a production screenshot, or a promise of message delivery.

  1. 1. QR join

A client scans the printed poster, chooses the needed service, and joins in a browser without installing an app.

  2. 2. Live browser status

The client can revisit the status page on their phone while they wait nearby and see the current place in line.

  3. 3. Staff call and complete

Staff call the next client from the queue, move the visit to ready, and complete it when the service is finished.

Ready-text accounting

One SMS-enabled self-join reserves one ready text at join time. Delivery attempts and retries reuse that reservation; staff-added customers without SMS do not use the quota. Delivery still depends on the enabled messaging and compliance setup.

Explore the queue workflow

See the customer and staff steps behind a simple barbershop or salon queue.

Keep the line visible without crowding the shop.

SpotWait focuses on the live walk-in queue. It is intentionally not an appointment calendar, payroll system, commission tracker, inventory tool, or POS replacement.

Fewer interruptions

Clients can check their place instead of repeatedly asking how long the wait will be.

Services stay clear

Offer haircut, fade, beard, nails, brows, or other active walk-in services.

Ready when you are

Call the next client and let their browser status show that it is time to return.

Free tier

Try it with your real walk-in line.

Create one location, publish one active QR queue, and test the complete browser workflow with up to 50 ready texts per month.

Use the Free tier for as long as it fits your queue. Upgrade only when you need more ready texts or locations.

Start with the complete core workflow

  • One location and one active queue
  • QR joining with no customer app
  • Browser status pages
  • Up to 50 ready texts per month

Choose the plan that fits your line.

The catalog is priced in USD per month. These are the current Free, Starter, and Pro options; the proposed $49 tier is not a purchasable plan.

Free · $0/month

One location and 50 ready texts per month for trying the core QR queue.

Starter · $19/month

One location and 500 ready texts per month for a growing single-location queue.

Pro · $89/month

Three locations and 3,000 ready texts per month, with pooled capacity across the workspace.

Ready-text capacity is pooled across workspace locations and queues. Queue count is an operational setting, not a billable allowance.

Barbershop FAQ

Does SpotWait replace booking or POS?

No. It is a live walk-in queue layer. Keep the booking or POS tools you already use; no integration or data sync is promised here.

Do customers need an app?

No. Customers use the QR link or a shared browser link on their phone. An app download is not required.

What must staff do?

Staff keep the queue open, call the next client, update the visit status, and complete the entry after service. The page does not claim fully automated staff actions.

How do ready texts count?

An SMS-enabled customer reserves one ready text at self-join. Staff-added customers without SMS do not use the allowance. A ready-text allowance is not a promise of message delivery.

Is customer support available?

Use the existing Support page for product questions. This page does not promise a response time, dedicated support, refund, or other service commitment.

Can I use this for general online booking?

SpotWait's website-booking capability is pilot-only and not generally available. This page is for the live walk-in queue.
